What does Gerasa do?+
Gerasa is a commercial MEP trade contractor delivering HVAC and plumbing. We engineer, coordinate, fabricate and deliver the mechanical and plumbing systems in commercial buildings — from air handling and hydronics to domestic water, sanitary and storm drainage.
What types of projects do you work on?+
We focus on commercial and institutional buildings: offices, healthcare and laboratories, hospitality and food service, retail and mixed-use, education, and data or light-industrial facilities.
What's the difference between design-build and plan-and-spec?+
In plan-and-spec, we build to an engineer's completed drawings. In design-build, we help engineer the HVAC and plumbing systems ourselves. Gerasa delivers both, plus design-assist support to refine a design before it's finalized.
What areas do you serve?+
We're based in Ashburn, Virginia and serve commercial projects across Northern Virginia and the Greater Washington, D.C. metro. See our service areas or contact us to confirm coverage.
How do I request a bid?+
Send your drawings, specifications and bid date to bids@gerasamechanical.com or use the form above. We return a constructible HVAC and plumbing number — quickly, to protect your schedule.
Why is the company called Gerasa?+
Gerasa is named after the ancient Greco-Roman city in Jordan (modern Jerash), renowned for engineered water systems — aqueducts, concealed plumbing, and a sewer running the length of its colonnaded main street. The name reflects our focus on the engineered systems that keep a building running. Read more.
